The Cheese Danish is a 1980s classic that McDonald's is bringing back.
For those who long to visit McDonald's at any time of the day for breakfast items, there is finally some good news: starting on September 14
the business will add a new pastry to menus across the country called "The Cheese Danish." And sure, you can get the McCafé Bakery item whenever you want.
The Cheese Danish is advertised as a "tasty" fall alternative to other well-known seasonal flavours, such as pumpkin, maple, and pecan
It is officially described as a "flakey pastry with a sweet cream cheese filling and topped with a buttery streusel and light vanilla drizzle," making it "perfect to enjoy for breakfast or as an afternoon treat."
The new item will join the Apple Fritter, Blueberry Muffin, and Cinnamon Roll in the all-day McCafé Bakery menu
It is reminiscent of a similar pastry McDonald's first introduced in the 1980s. It will be offered at participating
restaurants around the country for in-person, drive-thru, and McDelivery purchases. The franchise advises combining it with your favourite McCafé beverage.
